The Ocala Model Railroaders' Historic Preservation Society will host their bi-monthly Open House on Saturday, March 28th, 2015 from 10 AM - 3 PM. They will have the Ocklawaha Valley Railroad HO Scale layout on display as well as their extensive museum collection. This event is free to the public. The museum is located at 1247 NE 3rd Street in Ocala, FL 34470.

The Ocala Model Railroaders' will be attending the Six Gun Territory (Reunion) Wild West Weekend taking place at the Kirby Farm in Williston, FL. While the park itself is long gone, the spirit and history of this historic place remains in the hearts and minds of those who knew it best! The event will take place Sept 12th - 13th, 2015 and will feature Six Gun Territory memorabilia, mile long train ride, amusement park rides, exhibitions, vendors and much, much more. The OMRR will be displaying their Six Gun Territory modular layout as well as our extensive Six Gun Territory memorabilia that we’ve collected over the years. This event is open to the public (ticket purchase required for train/rides) so be certain to mark your calendar! It is the only place to be to see everything Six Gun Territory, including the former park employees/entertainers!
